Abstract:

A novel amine compound utilizable as a hole-transporting or hole-injecting material in organic electroluminescent elements, electrophotographic photoreceptors, etc. The novel amine compound is represented by the following general formula (1). [In the formula, R¹ and R² each independently represents hydrogen, linear, branched, or cyclic alkyl or alkoxy, aryl, aryloxy, or halogeno; Ar¹'s and Ar²'s each independently represents (un)substituted aryl or heteroaryl, provided that each Ar¹ may be bonded to the corresponding Ar² to form a nitrogenous heterocycle in cooperation with the nitrogen atom bonded thereto; Ar³'s each independently represents (un)substituted phenyl, naphthyl, biphenylyl, terphenylyl, anthryl, fluorenyl, or pyridyl (provided that those substituted by amino are excluded); and M represents a single bond, arylene, or heteroarylene.] (1)
