Abstract:
The invention relates to ammunition, primarily for automatic repeating artillery and small arms. The ammunition comprises a case having a bottle-shaped body with a shoulder, a projectile, a propellant charge, and a primer. At least one separating body in the form of a sphere is disposed inside the propellant charge. The diameter of the separating body is equal to or less than the diameter of the projectile but greater than the diameter of the barrel of the weapon. The result is an increase in the speed and penetrating action of the projectile.
