Abstract:
The present invention relates to anaerobically curable compositions, methods of preparation, and methods of use that provide enhanced physical properties when cured in contact with untreated inactive surfaces. The compositions which include an alkanediol dimethacrylate, a (meth)acrylate selected from the group consisting of glycerol (meth)acrylates, glycol (meth)acrylates, and combinations thereof, and a free-radical initiator, may be used without the addition of a transition metal catalyst.
