Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide an analysis method and an analysis device which enable the concentration of a target substance to be analyzed over a wide concentration range and with high sensitivity on the basis of polarization anisotropy. Provided is an analysis method for calculating a concentration of a target substance by measuring a value (R) relating to polarization anisotropy, using a luminescent reagent that binds with the target substance, the method including a mixing step for mixing a sample containing the target substance with the luminescent reagent to obtain a mixed solution, and a measuring step for measuring the value of R for the mixed solution when a time T has elapsed after the mixing, characterized in that, in the measuring step, the concentration of the target substance is calculated on the basis of T1, where T1 is the time at which R reaches R1.
