Abstract:
In this analysis system (1000), a pretreatment apparatus (400) causes a sample (a sample based on a metabolite of a subject) relating to a metabolic disorder to react with a reagent. The reagent contains 3-nitrophenylhydrazine. An organic acid contained in the sample is derivatized by the reaction of the sample with the reagent. The pretreatment apparatus (400) transports a sample containing the derivatized organic acid to an LC mass spectrometer (100). The LC mass spectrometer (100) analyzes the transported sample.
