This analyzing device includes a receiving unit for receiving, via a network, log data transmitted from each of a plurality of appliances connected to the network, a determining unit for determining, on the basis of the log data transmitted from each appliance, the classification, among a plurality of classifications, of a phenomenon arising in the appliance, for each appliance, and a detecting unit for detecting the occurrence of a phenomenon across the plurality of appliances, on the basis of a comparison of the log data for each of the plurality of appliances, in relation to a plurality of phenomena for which the determination result obtained by the determining unit is the same classification, thereby making it possible to detect the occurrence of phenomena occurring across the plurality of appliances.
