Abstract:
An anchor for embolic coils, and an embolic coil comprising same are disclosed. The disclosed anchor for embolic coils comprises a hollow main body and a central shaft arranged in the hollow main body, wherein the hollow main body is made of a braided composite fiber comprising a polymer fiber and a first alloy fiber, and the central shaft is formed from a second alloy fiber that is different from the first alloy fiber.
