Abstract:
An animal information management system (100) includes a storage unit (24) and an information processing unit (22). An information processing unit (22) causes a photographing device (10) to do tracking photographing of a pig (80), accumulates in the storage unit (24) a still image of the pig (80) obtained in the tracking photographing; switches the photographing device (10) to a zoom-in state of a higher zoom magnification than in tracking photographing if a predetermined condition regarding the accumulated still image is satisfied; causes the photographing device (10) in the zoom-in state to photograph the pig (80) to obtain the identification information of the pig (80); and associates the obtained identification information to the accumulated still image and stores it in the storage unit (24).
