Abstract:
An animal litter (10) is provided with: a litter body (3); and, a hood cover (4) that can be deployed in a dome shape in a closed position for covering an opening (3a) of the litter body (3), and can be stored in an open position for fully opening the opening (3a). The hood cover (4) is provided with securing members (50L, 50R) and rotating members (60L, 60R). The securing members (50L, 50R) are fitted to the edge of the opening (3a) of the litter body (3). The securing members (50L, 50R) have a retention hole (52) for retaining and securing an end of a first hood bone (42a) of the hood cover (4) arranged in the open position. The rotating members (60L, 60R) have a hook (64) for rotatably engaging with the securing members (50L, 50R), and a retention hole (62) for retaining and securing an end of a fourth hood bone (42d).
