Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an animal puller with a chain that makes gentle contact with the skin of the animal. [Solution] The present invention is equipped with: a chain member 2 in which a plurality of rings 4 are connected in the length direction L; a retainer 10 connected to one end side of the chain member 2, for attaching to an accessory on an animal; and a gripping tool 30 connected to the other end side of the chain member 2. A torsion process is performed on the plurality of rings 4 so that the width w of the chain member 2, viewed from a first direction D1 orthogonal to the length direction L, is increased when the chain member is extended in a straight line in the length direction L, and the thickness t of the chain member 2, viewed from a second direction D2 orthogonal to the length direction and the first direction, is increased, and a cutting process is performed to make both sides of the plurality of rings 4 of the chain member 2 flush when viewed from the first direction D1, whereby a smooth outer surface 8 formed from the cut surface 6 of each ring 4 is formed on both sides of the chain member 2.
