Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to an animation execution method and apparatus, a device, and a medium. The method comprises: when an animation execution command of a virtual object is received, acquiring animation configuration information, the animation configuration information comprising: a target action animation corresponding to the virtual object, an animation execution condition, and an animation stop condition; in response to determining that a state of the virtual object meets the animation execution condition, controlling the virtual object to execute the target action animation; and in a process of executing the target action animation, in response to triggering of the animation stop condition, stopping executing the target action animation. According to the present embodiment, the maintenance cost of a program can be effectively reduced.
