Abstract:
This method for producing an anionically-modified cellulose nanofiber dispersion liquid includes a step for preparing a dispersion liquid containing an anionically-modified cellulose, and a step for defibrating the cellulose in the dispersion liquid, wherein the hydroxy groups of at least a portion of the pyranose rings of the anionically-modified cellulose are modified by an oxidation or substitution reaction, and the anionically-modified cellulose dispersion liquid to be subjected to the defibration has an electrical conductivity of 500 μS/cm or less at a concentration of 1.0 wt%. The dispersion liquid is highly transparent.
