Abstract:

A coil conductor (31) of an antenna coil module (3) and a conductor layer (2) overlap at least partially. Current runs in the conductor layer (2) to block the magnetic field generated by current running in the coil conductor (31). Then, the current running in the surrounding area of the aperture part (CA) of the conductor layer (2) passes the periphery of a slit and runs in the surrounding area of the conductor layer (2) due to the edge effect. As magnetic flux does not pass through the conductor layer (2), the magnetic flux (MF) is diverted to a path in which the conductor aperture part (CA) of the conductor layer (2) is inside and the outer edge of the conductor layer (2) is outside. As a result, the magnetic flux (MF) forms a relatively large loop, and interlinks with the inside and outside of the coil conductor (41) of the reader/writer side antenna (4). Due to this, the antenna apparatus (101) and the reader/writer side antenna (4) are magnetically coupled.
