Abstract:
Provided is a small wideband antenna device. The antenna device is provided with: an antenna unit having a board-like first antenna element, and a second antenna element having a width that is smaller than that of the first antenna element; and a board-like parasitic element that is disposed facing the antenna unit. The parasitic element has a length that is substantially equal to or longer than 1/2 of the wavelength of a working frequency, the length of the second antenna element is shorter than 1/4 of the wavelength of the working frequency, and the antenna unit and the parasitic element are disposed at an interval with which the antenna unit and the parasitic element can be electromagnetically coupled to each other, said antenna unit and parasitic element resonating at the working frequency.
