Abstract:
An objective of the invention is to ensure that in a wireless communication device used in the vicinity of a human body and incorporating a board and an antenna, the size of the antenna is configured to be as large as possible, while the influence of the human body is reduced. An antenna device according to the invention is provided with a ground board, a vertical antenna element and a horizontal antenna element. The ground board is connected to a high frequency signal source. The vertical antenna element has an end connected to a feeding point to which signals from the high frequency signal source are supplied and extends perpendicularly to a board plane of the ground board. The horizontal antenna element is connected to the other end of the vertical antenna element and extends in a horizontal direction that is parallel to the board plane.
