This antenna element comprises a substrate (10), a radiating element (11) provided on the substrate (10), and metal patterns (12, 13) formed on the same substrate within the same plane as the radiating element (11) and provided in an electrically floating state, wherein the metal patterns (12, 13) are provided at positions separated by specific distances from the radiating element (11).
