Abstract:
A method and apparatus are provided for remotely controlling a plurality of electrically tiltable antenna (32-36) from an operations and maintenance center (12). The method includes the steps of transferring a data frame containing a fragmentation field between the operations and maintenance center (12) and a first controller (42) of the plurality of electrically tiltable antenna (32-36) and broadcasting the data frame to at least some other controllers of the plurality of electrically tiltable antenna (32-36) when the fragmentation field contains a point to multipoint indicator.
