Abstract:
The present invention relates to a 5G or pre-5G communications system for supporting a higher data transmission rate beyond a 4G communication system such as LTE. According to various embodiments of the present disclosure, an antenna module may comprise: at least one transmission chain including a first mixer configured to upconvert a transmission signal to a wireless frequency band; at least one frequency generator configured to generate at least one signal; at least one switch configured to receive the at least one signal generated by the frequency generator, and switching so as to selectively deliver the at least one signal to the first mixer; and an antenna element, the transmission chain, and the frequency generator.
