Abstract:
A clamp jig according to the present disclosure includes: a strut part; a grip part that is positioned on one end of the strut part and that is for gripping the outer periphery of a substrate; and a base part that is positioned on the other end of the strut part and that is for supporting the strut part. At least the base part contains a ceramic material the main component of which is silicon carbide. In the base part, the amount of carbon present in the upper-side main surface is less than the amount of carbon present in sections other than the upper-side main surface.
