Abstract:
Provided is an antenna capable of transmitting and receiving radio waves in a wide frequency band, and capable of freely fine tuning the level of the frequency band used. The antenna (10) comprises: an unbalanced feed material (11) having a feed section (17) and a non-feed section (18); a resonant conductor (12) that resonates with the feed section (17); and a ground conductor (13) that resonates with the non-feed section (18). The resonant conductor (12) comprises: a first stationary section (19) that is electrically connected to the feed material (11); and a pair of first free sections (20) that is parallel to the feed section (17) and that extends forward in the axial direction. The ground conductor (13) comprises: a second stationary section (25) that is electrically connected to the feed material (11); and a pair of second free sections (26) that is parallel to the non-feed section (18), and that extends backward in the axial direction. The feed section (17) of the feed material (11) comprises a parallel part (23) that is parallel to the first free sections (20) of the resonant conductor (12), and an extending part (24) that extends forward in the axial direction from the first free sections (20) of the resonant conductor (12).
