Abstract:
The present invention discloses anti-bacterial textiles fixed with nonagglomerating nanometer silver, and methods of making the same. The textiles are textile materials of animal, vegetable, or synthetic fibres, of which, between the fibre units and on the surfaces of the fibres are fixed firmly nonagglomerated superfine sliver particles, which are size of 1-100 nm. The superfine sliver particle has surface layer of silver oxide thickened 1-8 nm, and core of metal silver. The anti-bacterial textiles of present invention have remarkably antibactericidal function and broad-spectrum antiseptic capability. Moreover, the textiles are innoxious, nonirritating, non-allergic, and have no drugresistance. The antibacterial efficacy becomes stronger as the textiles come in to contact with water. They are suitable for the uses of medical treatment or health protection.
