Abstract:

An anti-microbial laundry detergent composition comprising, by weight of the composition, an anti-microbial agent that is a diphenyl ether, an amphoteric surfactant that is a C6-C20 alkyldimethyl amine oxide (AO), and an anionic surfactant that is a C6-C20 linear alkylbenzene sulfonate (LAS), while the LAS is present as the main surfactant of the composition. The laundry detergent composition characterized by such a surfactant system with AO and a high LAS content enables improved deposition of such anti-microbial agent onto treated fabrics.
