Title:
ANTI-VIRAL COMPOSITION COMPRISING PLACENTA-DERIVED MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2021/210852
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an anti-viral composition comprising at least one placenta-derived substance selected from the group consisting of placenta-derived cells, mesenchymal stem cells, extracellular vesicles, exosomes, microparticles, total RNA, and miRNA. The placenta-derived cells, mesenchymal stem cells, extracellular vesicles, exosomes, microparticles, total RNA, or miRNA, when administered to virus-infected cells, inhibited virus viability in a dose-dependent manner and, as such, can be advantageously used for preventing or treating viral infections.
