Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention is an anti-human C5 protein antibody or an antigen-binding fragment thereof. The antibody or antigen-binding fragment thereof binds to human C5 protein with high affinity, blocks cleavage of C5 protein or a R885 mutant thereof into C5a and C5b, and may be used to treat diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria, atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome, myasthenia gravis, neuromyelitis optica or macular degeneration, so as to benefit patients.
