Abstract:
An antifogging traffic mirror which is effective in avoiding that dew condensation or dew freezing occurs to render the image to be reflected in the mirror surface difficult to recognize or unrecognizable. The traffic mirror is equipped with a mirror-surface object (2) and a back plate (3), wherein a photocatalyst-containing layer (2G) has been formed on the mirror surface of the mirror-surface object (2). The traffic mirror is further equipped with a heat-storage material (4) between the mirror-surface object (2) and the back plate (3), the back plate (3) being constituted of a metal, and with an attachment part (7) for attaching a metal fitting (6) to the back plate (3), the attachment part (7) having been formed on a given area of the back plate (3) so as to project outward in the thickness direction of the back plate (3). An insulating material (12) has been introduced into the internal space (7H) of the projecting attachment part (7).
