Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing: an antifouling coating composition that has excellent safety and environmental friendliness, and has high antifouling properties against aquatic organisms; an antifouling coating film using the antifouling coating composition; a base material having the antifouling coating film; a production method for the base material; and an antifouling method of using the antifouling coating film. This antifouling coating composition contains: a curable organopolysiloxane (A); and a glycerin condensate ester (B) represented by formula (1). (In formula (1), n represents an integer of 2-20, each R independently represents a hydrogen atom or R1C(=O)-, at least one R represents R1C(=O)-, and R1 represents a monovalent hydrocarbon group having 7-23 carbon atoms.)
