Abstract:
Antipruritic compositions and compositions promoting wound healing which contain from 1 to 10% by mass, on the solid basis, of low-stripped bamboo extract. Because of containing the low-stripped bamboo extract at an extremely high concentration compared with the existing preparations, these compositions have a high antipruritic effect on skin diseases (for example, atopic dermatitis), which can be hardly treated or ameliorated by the conventional methods, and an excellent effect of promoting wound healing.
