Title:
ANVIL AND ULTRASONIC SEALING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/051835
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
In an ultrasonic sealing technique using a pair of horns, the purpose of the present invention is to improve sealing properties of a seal through an innovative shape of the anvil. This anvil (4) is in an ultrasonic sealing device that bonds a laminate at a vibration-imparting surface (3a) of the pair of horns (3) and a contact surface formed on the distal end surface of the anvil (4). On the contact surface, there are a left and right welding surface (10a) projecting towards the horns (3), opposite of two vibration-imparting surfaces (3a), and arranged along the extension direction of the vibration-imparting surfaces (3a). The left and right welding surfaces (10a) are configured such that the area per unit length along the aforementioned extension direction becomes larger, continuously or step-wise, in the direction away from the seal center, which is adjacent to the two vibration-imparting surfaces (3a).
