Abstract:
The present invention estimates an apnea-hypopnea index without restricting a subject. The present invention: acquires a body vibration signal for a sleeping subject in a non-contact/non-restrictive manner; extracts therefrom four parameters consisting of the respiration rate, the heart rate, a phase coherence calculated from the instantaneous phase difference between the instantaneous phase of the fluctuation in the heartbeat interval and the instantaneous phase of the respiration pattern, and the body movement ratio; creates histograms of the parameters; generates a feature image from the histograms; and inputs the feature image into a machine learning–trained AHI estimation model to estimate the AHI.
