Abstract:
Disclosed are an actuating apparatus (14) for a drilling system as well as a drilling system comprising an actuating apparatus (14) of said type. The actuating apparatus (14) comprises two parts (outer part 20, inner part 22) which are axially movable relative to one another and which rotate along with a safety device (12) (IBOP) during operation, and at least one expanding element (24) for initiating the relative movement between the outer part (20) and the inner part (22), said expanding element (24) not being affected by the rotation.
