Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus for climbing an outer wall, which moves along the outer wall of a building. The apparatus for climbing the outer wall, according to the present invention, comprises: a lift unit which is vertically movable along a perpendicular rail installed on the outer wall of the building; a horizontal moving unit for moving along a horizontal rail installed on the outer wall of the building, and moves horizontally between a docking entering position for entering the lift unit and a docking completion position that at which the lift unit docks so as to be vertically movable in accordance with the vertical movement of the lift unit; and a docking stabilization assembly for applying to the horizontal moving unit a first driving force, which is independent from auto-driving of the horizontal moving unit, so that the horizontal moving unit is seated at the docking completion position, and for applying to the horizontal moving unit a second driving force, which is independent from auto-driving of the horizontal moving unit, so that the horizontal moving unit is derailed from the docking completion position.
