Abstract:
This invention relates to the apparatus for the magnetic separation of gases as well as its applications. The primary purpose of the invention consists in compactly acquiring oxygen and nitrogen from the air with low energy consumption and high efficiency. This invention is based on the following special properties: strong paramagnetic oxygen molecules O¿2? in a non-uniform mantic field are subjected to a strong attracting force and this attracting force is increased as the product of the strength of the magnetic field and the gradient of the magnetic field increases. This invention applies the principle of magnetic focusing. It is emphasized to largely expand effective action interface between the strongly attractive magnetic field force and the air in a limited space. A variety of applications of the invention consist of constructing the oxygen-producing machine for health care, the air conditioner for producing enriched oxygen, the air exchange machine with heat preservation for producing enriched oxygen, the enriched oxygen motor system, the recycling system for the magnetic separation of combustion waste gases containing oxynitride NO¿x? and the nitrogen-generating apparatus for the preservation of grains in an atmosphere of nitrogen and so on.
