Abstract:
The present invention is provided with: a detection unit that detects parameters indicating the state of a power system; and a control circuit that controls an apparatus to be supplied with power from the power system. Demand response signals received from a server that monitors the state of the power system include first information that indicates instructions to increase the quantity of power to be supplied to the apparatus from the power system or second information that indicates instructions to reduce the quantity of power to be supplied to the apparatus from the power system, and furthermore, using the instructions indicated by the information included in the demand response signals thus received, and the parameters thus detected, the control circuit determines whether to control the apparatus corresponding to the demand response signals.
