Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus for dehydrating dredging sand, which dehydrates wet sand, earth, or the like which is collected from a river or sea. More particularly, the present invention relates to an apparatus for dehydrating dredging sand, which can perform a dehydrating operation in a continuous and quick manner, and which has superior dehydrating force to enable dehydrated dredging sand to be immediately used without having to be stored. The apparatus of the present invention for dehydrating dredging sand may enable the degree of dehydration to be adjusted so as to enable dredging sand to have a moisture content adapted for the purpose of use, and is highly durable to reduce maintenance costs. The apparatus of the present invention for dehydrating dredging sand has a main body, in an inner wall of which a groove is formed, such that a portion of dredging sand which is not conveyed is stored inside the groove so as to protect the inner wall of the main body, thus minimizing abrasions resulting from frictional force which might be generated during the conveyance of dredging sand. Thus, the durability of the apparatus of the present invention may be improved to reduce maintenance costs.
