Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus for fixing a trachea insertion tube, which fixes a trachea insertion tube inserted into a trachea to secure an airway of a patient and maintain breath of a patient being operated through artificial respiration and general anesthesia of an intensive care unit in order to protect a life of the patient. Although the trachea insertion tube performs the fixing by generally using a sticking plaster, sometimes, the fixing method is inconvenient, the sticking plaster is easily separated by saliva or blood, or the tube is moved or separated due to movement so that a patient becomes endangered. In order to solve the aforementioned problem, there are various types of apparatuses for fixing a trachea insertion tube. However, there are problems in that the apparatuses are inconvenient, the tube is bent, etc. The present invention is configured such that a spiral tube fixing portion (200) having elasticity and formed of a synthetic resin or a metal material is installed in a face contact portion being in contact with and fixing to a face of a patient, and a fixing protrusion and an adhesive material are provided on an inner surface of the tube fixing portion. After insertion of a tube into trachea, when the tube fixing portion is turned and wound around the trachea insertion tube, the trachea insertion tube is firmly fixed by an elastic force, the fixing protrusion, and an adhesive material. The tube fixing portion has an elastic property, so that even when the trachea insertion tube receives a force from one side, the trachea insertion tube is not folded and is smoothly bent. Due to the aforementioned structure, after the insertion of the tube into the trachea, the tube can be easily, rapidly and surely fixed, and interruption of artificial respiration generated by the folding of the tube can be prevented.
