Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus for forming a cascade-type artificial forest, the apparatus, according to one embodiment, comprising: a cascade flow path assembly in which a plurality of diaphragms are horizontally stacked in multiple stages at predetermined intervals inside a rectangular casing, the cascade flow path assembly having a zigzag-shaped internal flow path by means of left ends and right ends of the diaphragms alternately communicating with each other; an air inlet part which is connected to one lower side of the cascade flow path assembly to suck in ambient air and causes the sucked air to flow upward along the internal flow path of the cascade flow path assembly; a mixed-liquid storage part which is provided at a lower portion of the cascade flow path assembly, stores a basic alkali mixed liquid of a specific component that captures carbon dioxide in the air by means of a chemical reaction caused by contact with air, supplies the basic alkali mixed liquid to an upper portion of the cascade flow path assembly when air is sucked into the air inlet part, and causes the basic alkali mixed liquid to come into surface contact with the air while the basic alkali mixed liquid flows downward by its own weight along the internal flow path of the cascade flow path assembly; and an air outlet part which is provided on the upper portion of the cascade flow path assembly and discharges residual air from which carbon dioxide has been removed while passing through the internal flow path to the surroundings.
