Abstract:
An apparatus (1) for magnetic separation comprises a magnetic separation part (3). The magnetic separation part (3) includes a storage tank (5) for storing water to be treated, a pH regulating part (7) for regulating the pH value of the water to be treated, a magnetic particles adding part (9) for adding magnetic particles to the water to be treated, a mixing part (11) with which aggregates of microplastics and a magnetic fluid are formed, and a magnetic separation main part (13) in which the aggregates are separated by means of magnetic force from the water to be treated. In the storage tank (5), the pH value of the water to be treated is regulated to 4-7 inclusive and the aggregates of the microplastics and the magnetic fluid are formed. In the magnetic separation main part (13), the aggregates are separated by means of magnetic force from the water to be treated.
