Abstract:
An apparatus for measuring a 1 repetition maximum (1RM) is disclosed. The apparatus for measuring a 1RM, according to one embodiment of the present invention, can comprise: a motor unit which is connected to an at least partial region of a weight machine and which pulls the at least partial region of the weight machine in the opposite direction to the resistance direction of a user's body with respect to the weight machine; a pressure sensor for detecting a pressure value applied to the weight machine by the user's body; a speed sensor for detecting a speed value according to the movement of the weight machine; and a control module for measuring the 1RM of the user by driving the motor unit stepwise on the basis of information received from the pressure sensor and the speed sensor.
