Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus for measuring telescoping of a coil, which is a shape defect of the coil, prior to the coil being transferred after the coil is wound by a coiler of a hot-rolling line. The apparatus for measuring telescoping of a coil according to an embodiment of the present invention may comprise: a laser generation unit for generating at least one laser line that is output to a side of a coil to pass through the center of the coil; a camera unit for obtaining an image of the side of the coil including a plurality of laser lines; and a measurement unit for measuring, from the image obtained by the camera unit, a telescoping amount of the coil according to the length corresponding to the side of the coil among the lengths of the plurality of laser lines.
