Abstract:
An apparatus for medical waste disposal, comprising a treating chamber wherein medical waste is placed and heated; a combustion chamber furnished with fuel combustion means for heating water or steam to thereby generate superheated steam; superheated steam supply means furnished with the combustion chamber and capable of feeding superheated steam into the treating chamber; a jacket surrounding at least part of the treating chamber and providing between the same and an outer wall of the treating chamber a jacket space surrounding at least part of the treating chamber; and a combustion gas introduction passage interposed between the jacket and the combustion chamber and capable of introducing the combustion gas generated by the fuel combustion means into the jacket space.
