Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for calculating ground surface roughness. An apparatus for calculating ground surface roughness according to an embodiment of the present invention may comprise: a collection unit for collecting height information for a plurality of points within an area; a representative value calculating unit for calculating a representative value for the area by statistically processing the height information; and a ground surface roughness calculation unit for calculating the ground surface roughness of the area in accordance with the representative value.
