Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus for cooking or heating food (1), having a container (2) intended to receive the food (1), a reservoir (3) disposed under the container (2) and able to receive a liquid fuel (4), and a support (5) for holding the container and reservoir, the container having a bottom (6) and at least one side wall (7), characterized in that the thickness of the bottom (6) measured at the centre of the bottom (6) is at least twice the smallest thickness measured at the wall (7). The present invention also relates to a method for cooking or heating food by means of an apparatus according to the invention.
