Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for deriving a bite mark evaluation index through tongue image processing. The apparatus for deriving a bite mark evaluation index according to one embodiment comprises: a tongue analysis area identification unit for identifying a tongue analysis area corresponding to a tongue boundary from tongue image data; and a bite mark index determination unit for determining a bite mark index on the basis of the frequency magnitude of each frequency domain calculated from the determined tongue analysis area.
