Abstract:
A system (100) for enhancing surround sound in an environment of a plurality of speakers (106) is disclosed. The system (100) includes the plurality of speakers (106) and a controller (104) for transmitting the sound signals. The controller (104) is configured to generate a position map of the plurality of speakers based on the position coordinates of the plurality of speakers. The controller may determine an equalized audio channels for each of the plurality of speakers (106), wherein the equalized audio channels indicate homogeneous frequencies configured for each of the plurality of speakers (106). The controller may allocate the equalized audio channels to the plurality of speakers (106) based on the position map to enhance the surround sound; and adjust the audio intensity of the plurality of speakers (106) based on the position map to enhance the surround sound.
