Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention is an apparatus and method for enhancing wireless user terminal signals. The apparatus comprises a coupling antenna and a carrier, the coupling antenna is attached to a wireless user terminal by means of the carrier; the coupling antenna has an end located within a coupling area of an antenna of the wireless user terminal, the coupling antenna bypasses a grounding terminal of the wireless user terminal, such that the coupling antenna is coupled to an antenna of the wireless user terminal, wherein the coupling area is a spherical region formed to have a feed point of the antenna of the wireless user terminal as the circular center, and 1/10 of the wavelength of signals received and transmitted by the wireless user terminal as the radius. The method for enhancing wireless user terminal signals comprises the following steps: providing a coupling antenna and a carrier, attaching the coupling antenna to the wireless user terminal by means of the carrier, and conditions of attachment satisfy the following: the coupling antenna has an end located within a coupling area of an antenna of the wireless user terminal, and the coupling antenna bypasses a grounding terminal of the wireless user terminal. In the present invention, the coupling antenna is installed within the coupling area of the wireless user terminal, such that the coupling antenna can be accurately coupled with the antenna of the wireless user terminal, thereby increasing the strength of working signals received and transmitted by the antenna of the wireless user terminal.
