Abstract:
Disclosed are an apparatus and method for formation pressure test physical simulation and scaling. The apparatus comprises a rock core holder (10), and a rock core (14) being provided in the rock core holder (10); also comprises a confining pressure simulation module, a formation pressure simulation module, an annulus pressure simulation module, a suction system, a thrust and supporting force simulation module, and a drive control system (1). A thrusting rod (12) is provided on the thrust and supporting force simulation module. The thrusting rod (12) runs through a side cavity wall of the rock core holder (10). An analog probe (13) is provided at the front extremity of the thrusting rod (12). The suction system is connected to the thrusting rod (12). The confining pressure simulation module, the formation pressure simulation module, the annulus pressure simulation module, the thrust and supporting force simulation module, and the suction system are connected to the drive control system (1). The apparatus is capable of simulating the physical environment of a formation pressure test, implementing a physical simulation of the formation pressure test, calibrating and scaling a formation pressure tester, thus increasing formation pressure testing capability and control precision.
