Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to an apparatus and method for handover in a hierarchical federated learning network, and a medium. Provided is a network-side electronic apparatus for federated learning. The apparatus comprises a processing circuit, wherein the processing circuit is configured to: determine a model aggregation time and determine a remaining service time for a user equipment, the user equipment being directly connected to a network or being indirectly connected to the network by means of an intermediate node; when the model aggregation time and the residual service time meet a predetermined condition, make a handover decision for the user equipment; and send the handover decision for the user equipment.
