Abstract:
An apparatus for Intermediate Frequency (IF) filtering includes an IF filter. Said apparatus also includes a filtering coefficient storage and a coefficient selecting and controlling unit connected with the filtering coefficient storage, and the output end of said coefficient selecting and controlling unit is connected with the IF filter; wherein said filtering coefficient storage is set to store the filtering coefficients of the IF filter in different communication standards. Said coefficient selecting and controlling unit is set to extract the filtering coefficient corresponding to the cummunication standard in which the IF filter operates, from said filtering coefficient storage, and provide the filtering coefficient to said IF filter. Said IF filter is set to perform data filtering processing with the obtained filtering coefficient from the coefficient selecting and controlling unit. The present invention can also provide an IF filtering method. The present invention can save the hardware resources required for digital IF information processing in the scene which supports the multi-mode, the mixed-mode, and the multi-antenna and multi-carrier.
