Abstract:

An apparatus and a method for maintaining a charge capacity of a secondary battery are disclosed. According to the present invention, when a charge capacity of a secondary battery is larger than a required proper charge capacity, the charge capacity is decreased or a discharge capacity is increased. Further, according to the present invention, when the charge capacity of the secondary battery is smaller than the required proper charge capacity, the discharge capacity is decreased or the charge capacity is increased. Accordingly, the second battery can maintain a proper charge capacity.
