Abstract:
Provided is a technology for providing, in thermal image monitoring of a switchgear, a thermal image of a thermal imaging camera by correcting the inaccuracy of a thermal image such that the thermal image has high accuracy. An apparatus for monitoring a switchgear by using a thermal image, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a thermal imaging camera provided to capture a thermal image of the inside of a distribution board, a high-voltage distribution board, a low-voltage distribution board, or a motor control board (hereinafter switchgear); a temperature sensor unit provided to an inner plate, which is provided inside the switchgear and has electrical equipment thereon, and/or a cover, which is provided to prevent damage from the outside by covering the electrical equipment at an opening/closing door side, so as to comprise at least one temperature sensor for measuring the temperature of the electrical equipment; and a thermal image generation unit for receiving the thermal image captured by the thermal imaging camera as a first thermal image, and generating a second thermal image by correcting the first thermal image such that the first thermal image coincides with the temperature measured by the temperature sensor unit.
